Play MovieSerial 2D EFIC image stack in the coronal plane of 1963-002-3 (E16.5) reveals HLHS, hypoplastic left ventricle, small mitral valve, left ventricular outflow tract obstruction, hypoplastic transverse aortic arch. Note the imaging plane of the 2D serial image stack does not allow visualization of the connection between the aorta and hypoplastic left ventricle, but this can be clearly seen in the color flow Doppler cine (see http://www.informatics.jax.org/image/MGI:5644802) and a screen shot from the cine (http://www.informatics.jax.org/image/MGI:5644804), which together documents the aorta arising from the left ventricle.
