Histological analysis of transgenic prostates. Tissue sections from 1 year-old males with genotypes: Tg(Pbsn-cre)4Prb/0 (PbCre4), Tg(Pbsn-cre)4Prb/0 Gt(ROSA)26Sor^{tm1(CAG-Bmi1,-EGFP)Nki}/Gt(ROSA)26Sor⁺ (PbCre4;Bmi1^LSL), Tg(Pbsn-cre)4Prb/0 Pten^tm1Mro/Pten⁺ (PbCre4;Pten^lox/+), and Tg(Pbsn-cre)4Prb/0 Gt(ROSA)26Sor^{tm1(CAG-Bmi1,-EGFP)Nki}/Gt(ROSA)26Sor⁺ Pten^tm1Mro/Pten⁺ (PbCre4;Bmi1^LSL;Pten^lox/+) were stained with H&E and scored for prostate lesions. Mice harboring a given type of lesion often displayed the whole panel of lower grade lesions. Images are from one representative mouse per genotype for consistency. Scale bar: 100 um.
