Caption A radiograph (C) of wild-type (+/+) and Cthtm1Iish/Cthtm1Iish (-/-) females fed the Kojin Rayon (low-cysteine diet) diet for 1 week from 3 weeks of age. Severe atrophy was observed in proximal muscles such as trapezius and rectus femoris muscles (arrow and arrowhead in C, respectively). Bars, 1 cm.
