Apoptotic cells are present in some areas of the 4-month-old Ahr^tm1Yfk/Ahr^tm1Yfk bladder (B, D, and F), whereas there are very few in the heterozygous control (A, C, and E). DAPI is used to stain the nuclei blue (A and B) and FITC stains TUNEL+ cells green (C and D). (Scale bars, 20 um.)
