Representative confocal pictures of mitochondrial shape in hepatocytes from wild-type (WT) or Them4^tm1Hem/Them4^tm1Hem (-/-) mice. Mitochondria were visualized with MitoTracker Red. Mitochondria are elongated in hepatocytes of mutants compared with round and compact mitochondria of wild-type hepatocytes.
