Selenium deficiency affects hind limbs and gait of Selenop^tm3.1Rfb/Selenop^tm3.1Rfb Speer6-ps1^{Tg(Alb-cre)21Mgn}/0 mice. Mice were fed a selenium-deficient diet for 61 weeks beginning at weaning. A shows curling of hind limbs when the mouse was picked up by the tail. B shows splaying of hind limbs but not fore limbs.
