Caption Time course of central nervous system (CNS) vacuolation in Sox10gt/Sox10gt (gt/gt) mice. H&E stained paraffin sections of the pons (a), cerebellum (b) and thalamus (c) of mutant and wild-type mice at postnatal day 9 (P9), P10, P12 and P15. Vacuoles first appear in the pons and cerebellar white matter on P9, and in the thalamus between P10 and P12. In all brain regions, vacuoles become more numerous and larger with age. All panels at same magnification, scale bars 10 um.
