Loss of EHD4 leads to a progressive reduction of seminiferous tubule diameter with increasing age. Wild-type (Ehd4+/+) and Ehd4^tm1.1Haba/Ehd4^tm1.1Haba (Ehd4-/-) mice (n = 3) at postnatal d10, d20, and d31 were euthanized, their testis dissected from the scrotal sac, immersion-fixed and PAS stained. Images were acquired using a 20X objective. Panels a, c, and e represent testis sections from wild-type (WT, ^+/+) mice at d20, d31, and d75 respectively, while panels b, d, and f represent testis sections from mutant mice at d20, d31, and d75, respectively.
