Images of sections immunostained with CD31 to visualize blood vessel lumens in the brain of E13.5 wild-type (Dock4 WT) and Dock4^{tm1(NCOM)Mfgc}/Dock4⁺ (Dock4 Het) embryos. Scale bar, 50 um. i-iv: magnifications of areas outlined in larger images. Red arrows point to blood cells in small calibre lumens. Table shows analysis of lumen size (three embryos for each condition) in microscopic fields across the whole hemisphere. 40 vessels with largest diameter lumens were analysed for each embryo.
