RCAN1 levels influence inflammatory leukocyte infiltration rate in sepsis. Heart, lung, and liver of wild-type (WT) and Rcan1^tm1Fmc/Rcan1^tm1Fmc (DSCR-1 KO) mice were harvested, cryosectioned, and stained with anti-Mac1 antibody. Mac1-positive activated leukocytes (brown) were quantified based on the analysis of 6 independent sections. Scale bars: 50 um.
