Caption Trex1tm1.1Fwpe/Trex1tm1.1Fwpe mice have an autoimmune phenotype. Wild-type (WT) and Trex1tm1.1Fwpe/Trex1tm1.1Fwpe (D18N/D18N) (D) Spleen H&E, (Scale bar, 100 um); (E) Heart H&E (Scale bar, 100 um); (F) Kidney H&E, (Scale bar, 50 um; * indicates tubular proteinosis); and (G) Splenic vesel H&E (Bar, 50 um). Histologic analysis of tissues collected from mutant mice reveal four major categories of consistently observed lesions that are the most severe at 6 months of age, including lymphoid hyperplasia, inflammation, vasculitis, and kidney disease.
