H&E-stained quadriceps muscle sections of 38-week-old wild-type (WT) and Dysf^tm1Kcam/Dysf^tm1Kcam (dysf-null) mice. The muscle section from the mutant showed typical myopathic changes including central nucleation, fiber size variation, inflammation, fibrosis, and fat replacement.
