(A) Transmission electron micrographs from P45 wild-type (WT), Lztfl1^{tm1e(KOMP)Wtsi}/Lztfl1^{tm1e(KOMP)Wtsi} (Lztfl1 mut), and Bbs1^tm1Vcs/Bbs1^tm1Vcs (Bbs1^M390R/M390R) retinas are shown. Sections were made to show the longitudinal axis of the photoreceptor cell. Abnormal vesicles are marked with red arrowheads and longitudinally formed discs, green arrowheads. (Scale bar, 1 um.) (B) Localization of Prom1 (red) in mouse retinas at P21. DAPI (blue) was used to stain nuclei (Scale bar, 50 um).
