Bright and fluorescent images of PECAM-1 immunostained E9.5-10.5 (a) wild-type and (b) Ptch1^wig/Ptch1^wig (wiggable) embryos. Mutant embryos exhibit enhanced PECAM-1 staining, indicative of a marked increase in endothelial cells and vasculature formation. Arrowheads and arrows indicate perturbed pharyngeal arch artery formation and anomalies in vascular plexus development, respectively.
