Immunohistochemical analysis of M-opsin, S-opsin, and rhodopsin in the superior retina in Rpgr^Rd9/Y (Rd9) and control (B6) mice at 2 and 12 months-of-age (red fluorescence labeling). M-cone opsin reactivity appears throughout both outer and inner segments in mutant mice at both ages. Rhodopsin reactivity is disturbed in mutant mice at 12 months-of-age.
