Images of typical sperm stained with Harris-Shorr from Cfap43^em1Pfr/Cfap43^em1Pfr (Cfap43-/-) and Cfap44^em1Pfr/Cfap44^em1Pfr (Cfap44-/-) males. Cfap43^em1Pfr/Cfap43^em1Pfr sperm display a short, thick and coiled falgella. Although the sperm head is slighly deformed, it shows an overall normal hooked form. Cfap44^em1Pfr/Cfap44^em1Pfr sperm have normal flagellum length, but most show abnormal forms and irregular caliber of the midpiece. Scale bars = 10 um.
