Electron microscopy image of a section of spinal cord from a symptomatic Tg(SOD1*G85R/EYFP)641Alho/Tg(SOD1*G85R/EYFP)641Alho (G85R SOD-YFP) transgenic mouse showing aggregates in a motor neuron cell body. A spinal cord section from a symptomatic mouse was fixed and stained for electron microscope (EM) observation. Visible are a motor neuron cell body (motor n.) and a neighboring astrocyte. There are several electron-dense aggregates (agg), presumably containing G85R SOD-YFP, within the motor neuron cell body.
