Progressive Purkinje neuron loss in the Trpc3^Mwk/Trpc3⁺ cerebellum. Calbindin stained parasagittal sections from 6-month-old (A), 9-month-old (B), 12-month-old Trpc3^Mwk/Trpc3⁺ (C), and wild-type (WT) mice (D). Coronal sections of 6-month old Trpc3^Mwk/Trpc3⁺ (E) and WT (F) mice show pronounced loss of Purkinje cells in the lateral cerebellar hemispheres of mutant mice.
