Caption | Spinal cord sections from E14.5 embryos from the denoted crosses were immunostained. Arrows in panel C indicate neurons from the Dbx1 lineage that co-express Pax6. Arrows in panel F show neurons from the Foxn4 lineage that also express Pax6 (progenitor domain p2-derived). Panel J illustrates the total number of Pax6+ neurons and the number of Pax6+ neurons deriving from Dbx1 and Foxn4 lineages. Note that the total number of Pax6+ is more than the sum of the two subpopulations of neurons. This could be due to incomplete or delayed Cre-recombination or that some Pax6+ neurons derive from other domain(s). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
