Exosc2^em1(IMPC)J/Exosc2^em1(IMPC)J embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/34 ), however excess resorption sites suggest mutants elicit a decidual response in vivo. Homozygous mutants are recovered at E3.5 and appear as blastocysts. Mutants fail to hatch from the zona or form outgrowths. RNA-seq data indicates robust post-8 cell expression.
