Dbr1^{tm1.1(KOMP)Vlcg}/Dbr1^{tm1.1(KOMP)Vlcg} embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/30), nor are the excess resorption sites. Homozygous mutants are recovered at E3.5 in expected ratios and appear as normal blastocysts. Mutants hatch from the zona and generate morphologically typical outgrowth colonies (trophectoderm/primitive endoderm/inner cell mass). RT-PCR indicates limited expression during pre-implantation but robust post-implantation expression. Robust LacZ knock-in reporter post-implantation.
