Rab11a^{tm1b(KOMP)Wtsi}/Rab11a^{tm1b(KOMP)Wtsi} mutants are recovered in expected ratios at E7.5 but are much smaller than littermates. A rudimentary egg-cylinder has formed, but no morphological primitive streak or other hallmarks typical of gastrulation at E7.5 (i.e. node, headfolds) are present. RT-PCR indicates robust wide-spread expression. No knock-in LacZ reporter staining is observed in E6.5, E7.5 or E8.5 embryos (not shown). Additional information at websites.umass.edu/jmager/Rab11a
