Caption Pmpcbtm1b(EUCOMM)Hmgu/Pmpcbtm1b(EUCOMM)Hmgu embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/32), and there are excess resorption sites. Homozygous mutants are recovered at E3.5 and appear as normal blastocysts. Mutants hatch from the zona and form morphologically normal outgrowths with very compact inner cell mass colonies. RT-PCR indicates limited pre-implantantion expression. Knock-in LacZ shows weak expression in gastrulation stages. Additional information at websites.umass.edu/jmager/Pmpcb
