Image
Caption Mrps22tm1.1(KOMP)Vlcg/Mrps22tm1.1(KOMP)Vlcg are recovered at expected mendelian ratios at E7.5. Mutants show consistent phenotype including developmental delay (~E6.0 size), no morphological hallmarks of gastrulation and no Brachyury (T)-positive cells. Phospho-histoneH3 (PH3) shows many dividing cells despite the overall developmental delay. RT-PCR show largely ubiquitous expression. Knock-in lacZ reporter shows no staining during gastrulation stages (only E7.5 shown). Additional information at websites.umass.edu/jmager/Mrps22
