Ndc80^em1(IMPC)J/Ndc80^em1(IMPC)J embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/29), however there are excess resorption sites suggesting mutants elicit a decidual response in vivo. Homozygous mutants are recovered at E3.5 and appear as early blastocysts. Mutants fail to hatch from the zona and are dead after 72 hours in culture.
