Thoc3^em1(IMPC)J/Thoc3^em1(IMPC)J embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/40), however excess resorption sites suggest mutants elicit a decidual response in vivo. Homozygous mutants are recovered at expected ratios at E3.5 and appear as uncompacted morula. Mutants hatch from the zona and form atypical outgrowths with irregular inner cell mass and few trophectoderm cells. RNA-seq data indicates robust expression.
