Rad54l2^em1(IMPC)Tcp/Rad54l2^em1(IMPC)Tcp embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/27), nor are there excess resorption sites. Homozygous mutants are recovered at E3.5 and appear as early blastocysts. Mutants hatch from the zona and form irregular outgrowths with few adherent trophoblast giant cells. RNA-seq data indicates robust maternal and post-zygotic expression.
