Phenotype Image Detail
Image
Caption Scfd1em1(IMPC)Tcp/Scfd1em1(IMPC)Tcp embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/29), however there are excess resorption sites suggesting mutants elicit a decidual response in vivo. Homozygous mutants are recovered at expected ratios at E3.5 and appear as blastocysts. Mutants hatch from the zona and form outgrowths with mixed phenotypes: some do not hatch from the zona or form outgrowths, and some have no apparent inner cell mass and dispersed trophectoderm. RNA-seq data indicates robust maternal and post-2-cell expression. Additional information at websites.umass.edu/jmager/Scfd1
