Pkm^em1(IMPC)Bay/Pkm^em1(IMPC)Bay mutants can be recovered at E7.5 but are much smaller than littermates. No rudimentary egg-cylinder has formed, no morphological hallmarks of gastrulation at E7.5 (i.e. primitive streak, node, headfolds) are present. RNA-seq data indicates robust expression.
