Cyc1^em1(IMPC)Bay/Cyc1^em1(IMPC)Bay are recovered at expected Mendelian ratios at E7.5 but are much smaller than littermates. Mutants show consistent phenotype including severe developmental delay, forming an epithelium with no obvious embryonic-extraembryonic boundary, and few Oct4 positive cells.
