Gpn1^em1(IMPC)J/Gpn1^em1(IMPC)J embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/30). Homozygous mutants can be recovered at E3.5 in expected ratios and appear as blastocysts. Mutants fail to hatch from the zona and are dead after 72hr in vitro outgrowth culture. RNA-seq data indicates robust maternal and post-zygotic expression.
