| Caption | Generation of the Peli1tm1.1Arte allele. (C) The targeting strategy used to introduce the Phe397 to Ala mutation into exon 7 of the Peli1 gene. Exon 7 contains the C-terminal 188 amino acid residues of Pellino1 as well as the 3' UTR (white box). In the targeting vector, exon 7 of Peli1 was flanked by loxP sites (white triangles) and exon 7 mutated to introduce the F397A mutation. The vector also contained a puromycin resistance gene (puro) flanked by frt sites (black triangles) for positive selection and the thymidine kinase gene (TK) for negative selection. | ||||
