Caption Schematic of the Nrltm1Jcco (Nrl flox) and Nrltm1.1Jcco (Nrl CKO) alleles. The first coding exon (ex3) is flanked by loxP sites in the Nrltm1Jcco allele. The floxed exon 3 can be removed via cre-mediated recombination and generates the Nrltm1.1Jcco allele when a germline specific cre-recombinase is used.
