The NLS-Cre coding sequence is placed under the control of the Gja10 (Cx57) promoter after Flp recombination. DTR-eGFP: diphtheria toxin receptor (DTR; HBEGF) and EGFP fusion protein; NLS: nuclear localization signal. B. Southern blot analysis. 7.2 kb band confirms correct targeting of cre construct to the Gja10 (Cx57) locus. Successful Flp-mediated excision of DTR produces 8.7 kb band. | ||||
