A modifying vector (2) was used to insert an ires-GFP cassette, followed by a Neo selection loxP-flanked cassette auto-excisable in males downstream the Eomes STOP codon (3). After Cre-induced recombination, the Neo cassette is removed, leaving only the ires-GFP and generating the Eomestm1.1Twa allele (4).
