| Caption | Generation of the Epc1Gt(XB645)Byg allele. A, diagram showing the genomic structure of gene-trapped embryonic stem cells of Epc1. The first exon of the Epc1 gene was disrupted by insertion of the gene-trap vector. PCR primers for detection of either wild type mice or gene-trap vector are indicated by thick bars. For the detection of wild type mice, sense primer at the 3'-end of exon 1 and antisense primer at the first intron were used. The presence of the gene-trap vector was evaluated by 411-bp amplimers in the neomycin region. | ||||
