Caption Generation of the Grin1tm1c(EUCOMM)Wtsi (Grin12lox) allele. ES cells carrying the conditional-ready mutation Grin1tm1a(EUCOMM)Wtsi were injected into blastocysts of B6-Tyrc-2j mice. Chimeric males were crossed to B6-Tyrc-2j females to generate offspring heterozygous for the mutation. The promoter-driven cassette was removed by using FLP-mediated recombination. The resulting conditional allele, Grin1tm1c(EUCOMM)Wtsi, has loxP sites flanking the exon 4 of Grin1. The distance between the loxP sites is 879 bp.
