Caption | Shown, mice homozygous for Ankank have a severe joint disease that affects nearly all the movable joints. Affected mice are first recognizable at about 5 weeks of age by stiffness of the toes of the forefeet. Loss of mobility soon spreads to other joints, including the tail. | ||||
