Caption Left, control mouse and right, Mfsd12gr/Mfsd12gr. Homozygotes resemble Tyrc-ch homozygous mice, but the yellow pigment in the hair is more diluted and the black pigment is unaffected. Homozygotes are about 20 to 30 per cent smaller than their normal littermates at birth and about 10 per cent smaller as adults.
