Caption Left, Pax3Sp/+ and right, KitlSl/+. Heterozygotes for Pax3Sp show white spotting on the belly and occasionally on the back, feet, and tail. Heterozygotes for KitlSl have a slight dilution of coat color, more extreme on the belly than on the back, light ears, feet, and tail, and occasionally a belly spot or a blaze.
