Caption A recessive inherited mutation causing a lighter coat color then littermate controls. The mutation can be recognized when first coat of hair comes in around 10 days of age. Hps3coa-7J/Hps3coa-7J mice also have abnormal eye pigmentation. Show here is a six week old Hps3coa-7J/Hps3coa-7J mouse on the left with Hps3coa-7J/+ on the right.
