Caption Histopathological sections from +/+ wild-type ( A & C) and Myh6tm1Jse/Myh6+ (B & D-F) mice stained with hematoxylin and eosin (A and B) and Masson trichrome (C-F). Normal myofibers (A) without fibrosis (C; note absence of blue stained collagen) are found in wild-type mice. Histopathology of Myh6tm1Jse/Myh6+ mice shows severe myocyte disarray (B) and diffuse (D) and focal ( E & F) patterns of fibrosis. Scalebars: A & B: 400um; E & F: 200um; C & D: 100um
