Vascular development in S1p receptor mutant embryos. Whole-mount immunohistochemical staining was performed with rat anti-CD31 (PECAM-1) monoclonal antibody on the following E10.5 embryos: wild-type (WT, A and B); S1pr1^tm1Rlp/S1pr1^tm1Rlp (C and D); S1pr1^tm1Rlp/S1pr1^tm1Rlp S1pr2^tm1Rlp/S1pr2^tm1Rlp double null (E and F); and S1pr1^tm1Rlp/S1pr1^tm1Rlp S1pr2^tm1Rlp/S1pr2^tm1Rlp S1pr3^tm1Rlp/S1pr3^tm1Rlp triple null (G and H). Panels A,C,E and G offer whole body views. Panels B,D,F and H show close-up views of head vessels. The white lines in panels A,C,E and G indicate the head regions views in panels B,D,F and H).
