Caption Ptpn6me-v/Ptpn6me-v mice develop severe autoimmune disease. Characteristics include by granulocytic skin lesions like those seen on the tail and inflammatory reactions in the back paws as seen in this mouse. Paws can become deformed affecting walking. Focal depigmentaion of skin is followed by patchy absence of hair giving the coat an uneven appearance.
