Clinical assessment of Lama1^nmf223/Lama1^nmf223 mutants reveals vitreal and retinal abnormalities. Fundus photographs and fluorescein angiography of littermate control (A and C) and Lama1^nmf223/Lama1^nmf223 (nmf223 mutants, B and D) at 8 weeks of age are shown. Mutants exhibit vitreal fibroplasia, white spots, and vessel tortuosity.
