Caption Arsbm1J/Arsbm1J mice have a combination of delayed muscle and nerve degeneration along with skeletal phenotype consisting of a shortened snout, wide-set eyes and shortened limbs that become more noticable with age. Pictured are a seven-month-old mutant male mouse on the left with a control sibling on the right. Note the short nose and the stance of the mutant.
