| Caption | (A) Generation of Ncr1tm1.1(icre)Viv. Wild-type locus, the targeting construct, and resulting knock-in allele following homologous recombination and neo excision are shown. The construct contains homology arms recombineered from a 6.6 kb fragment from the BAC clone RP23-106A10 encoding exon 7 of Ncr1 (NKp46) flanking an IRES-icre (codon-improved cre) and Frt-flanked neo selection marker inserted after the stop codon of Ncr1. Homologous recombination inserted the cre into the 3' end of Ncr1. | ||||
