A, Dorsal views show the different body size and tail lengths of wild-type and Lmx1a^bsd/Lmx1a^bsd (bsd/bsd) and Lmx1a^mtl/Lmx1a^mtl (mtl/mtl) adult mice. Ventral views show the presence of white belly patches of variable size in both homozygous mutants.
