Phenotype Image Detail
Image
Caption a) Hair phenotype of mice expressing the knock-in construct. Heterozygous mice carrying one wild-type and one knock-in Ctsltm1.2Thre allele (CtslKiTTCdeltaSTOP/wt) show no aberrations in normal coat. Photo of littermates taken at P30 shows Ctsltm1.2Thre/Ctsltm1.2Thre (CtslKiTTCdeltaSTOP/CtslKiTTCdeltaSTOP) mice fully resemble the periodical hair loss due to cathepsin L deficiency, while heterozygous mice show no aberrations.
