Phenotype Image Detail
Image
Caption Med20em1(IMPC)J/Med20em1(IMPC)J embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/28), nor are the excess resorption sites. Homozygous mutants are recovered at E3.5 in expected ratios and appear as normal blastocysts. Mutants fail to hatch from the zona with apparent cell death and failure to form a typical outgrowth colony (no trophectoderm/primitive endoderm/epiblast cells). RT-PCR indicates robust expression at most embryonic stages with notable absence in the blastocyst. Additional information at websites.umass.edu/jmager/Med20
